This week, four provincial nomination programs (PNPs) issued nominations to immigration candidates.
Candidates were selected based on their professional experience, secure employment and general eligibility for provincial immigration.
Note: Each PNP uses its own scoring system, (or if a stream is aligned with the federal Express Entry system, the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)) to assign eligibility points to immigration candidates. These scores are not largely comparable to each other and should only be viewed in the context of a specific PNP.

Provincial Immigration Results: September 6 to 13
british columbia
On September 10, the British Columbia PNP (BCPNP) invited candidates through the Skilled Worker International Graduate Stream. This draw invited candidates who have professional experience in in-demand occupations in the province – and it was combined with the Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) option.
The cut-off marks for the candidates under this draw varied depending on their professional experience:
- Childcare workers needed a minimum of 83 points to be invited (30 invitations were issued);
- Construction workers needed a minimum of 89 points to be invited (19 invitations issued);
- Healthcare workers needed a minimum of 99 points to be invited (18 invitations issued);
- A minimum of 117 points was required to be invited to technical staff (84 invitations were issued); and
- Veterinary care workers needed a minimum of 80 points to be invited (at least one invitation had to be issued).

Ontario
On September 10, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) held three draws under its “Employment: Job Offers” stream.
The first draw took place under the Employment Job Offers: International Students stream. 806 candidates were invited; a minimum of 67 points and a job offer in a listed health occupation or skilled trade job was required to be considered.
The second draw took place under the Employment Job Offers: Skilled Trades stream. 15 candidates were invited; and required a minimum of 67 points and a job offer in a listed skilled trade occupation to be considered.
The third draw on this day took place under the Employment Job Offers: In-Demand Skills stream. 647 candidates were invited; and to be considered required a minimum of 34 points and a job offer in Ontario that met the stream’s job offer requirements.
On September 12, the OINP held another provincial selection under the Human Capital Priority Stream, inviting 1,269 candidates. To be considered, candidates needed a minimum score between 414 and 444, as well as work experience in selected healthcare roles.
Manitoba
On September 12th, the Manitoba PNP (MPNP) held a provincial selection under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream.
206 candidates were issued letters of advice to apply under this draw. Candidates were considered only if:
- They are currently employed in one of the following occupations: cook (National Occupation Classification* (NOC) 63200), or chef (NOC 62200); and
- They or their spouse had completed post-secondary education in Manitoba.
Out of the 206 candidates invited under this draw, 21 declared valid Express Entry profile numbers.

Saskatchewan
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) held a provincial selection under in-demand occupations on September 12. 32 candidates were invited under this draw.
To be considered, candidates needed a minimum of 88 points, an Education Certificate Assessment (ECA), or Canadian Higher Secondary Education degree, as well as being currently employed by one of the following NOCs:
- NOC 0012: Senior managers, financial, communications and other business services;
- NOC 10010: Financial managers;
- NOC 10011: Human resources manager;
- NOC 10021: Banking, credit and other investment managers;
- NOC 11101: Financial and investment analysts;
- NOC 11109: Other financial officers;
- NOC 11200: Human resources professionals;
- NOC 12010: Supervisors, general office and administrative support staff;
- NOC 12102: Procurement and purchasing agents and officers;
- NOC 20012: Computer and information systems managers;
- NOC 21220: Cyber security specialist;
- NOC 21221: Business systems specialist;
- NOC 21222: Information systems specialist;
- NOC 21223: Database analysts and data administrators;
- NOC 21231: Software engineers and designers;
- NOC 22220: Computer network and web technician;
- NOC 22303: Construction Estimator;
- NOC 41200: University professors and lecturers;
- NOC 41210: College and other vocational instructors;
- NOC 41405: Education policy researchers, consultants and program officers;
- NOC 42202: Early childhood educators and assistants;
- NOC 43100: Elementary and secondary school teacher assistants;
- NOC 60010: Corporate sales manager; or
- NOC 70012: Facility operations and maintenance managers.
