This week, four different provinces issued nominations to candidates through their respective Provincial Nomination Programs (PNPs) and Provincial Immigration Programs.
Candidates were selected based on their professional experience, employment, language skills, education and other factors. The points awarded to candidates by the PNP based on these factors vary by province and should not be compared with each other.

Provincial Immigration Results June 18, 21-28
British Columbia (BC)
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) held immigration draws this week through its six provincial programs.
On June 25, the five streams (Skilled Worker, Skilled Worker: Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) Option, International Graduate, International Graduate EEBC Option, and Entry Level and Semi-Skilled) held a joint draw, inviting a total of 35 candidates. The four streams required candidates to score a minimum of 134 points, while candidates in the Entry and Semi-Skilled streams needed to score 110 points to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence (PR).
The Skilled Worker and International Graduate (including EEBC option) stream also held another draw on the same day, issuing ITAs to candidates with professional experience in in-demand occupations in the province. The stream issued at least 29 ITAs. Candidates in child care and construction occupations needed a minimum of 97 points to be invited, candidates in healthcare needed 106 points, and candidates in veterinary care occupations needed a minimum of 80 points.
Manitoba
The Manitoba PNP (MPNP) held draws on June 21 and 25 and issued Advice to Apply letters to 413 candidates.
On the 21st, the MPNP held a draw through the Skilled Worker Overseas stream, issuing 52 letters of advice to apply to candidates with a minimum score of 721. On the same day, the MPNP invited 111 candidates through the International Education stream. Of the 163 candidates invited that day, 31 had declared valid Express Entry profiles.
On the 25th, the MPNP invited 250 candidates through the occupation specific selection route of the Skilled Worker Overseas stream. To be issued a letter of advice to apply, candidates needed a minimum score of 516, in addition to being employed in one of the following National Occupational Classifications of occupations., (NOC) Code:
- 31301 – Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses;
- 31302 – Nurse Practitioner;
- 32101 – Licensed practical nurses; and
- 33102 – Nurse aides, orderlies and patient service aides.
Of the 250 candidates invited, 93 declared valid Express Entry profiles.

Quebec
On June 17, Quebec invited immigration candidates through its provincial immigration program. The Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration (MIFI) invited 1,470 candidates to apply for permanent selection.
To be invited, candidates must do the following:
- Must have oral proficiency in French equivalent to level 7 according to the École québécoise Deslevels de Competence en Français or its equivalent; and either
- having a score equal to or more than 585 marks; or
- A valid job offer outside the area of the Metropolitan Community of Montreal.
Alberta
On June 18, the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) held an immigration draw in conjunction with the federal Express Entry system – issuing notification of interest to 73 candidates through the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway with the Alberta Job Offer Stream. Candidates needed a minimum of 301 points to be issued a notification of interest.
