As of April 1, absolutely vaccinated travellers now not want a pre-arrival COVID-19 test to enter Canada.
Travellers can still got to give proof of vaccination status and all different necessary information through the ArriveCAN app, either on desktop or mobile, before crossing the border. Travellers who arrive without finishing their ArriveCAN submission might need to test on arrival and quarantine for 14 days, no matter their vaccination status. Partially-vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers can still be subject to testing and quarantine needs. Canadian and exempt foreign travellers are needed to submit pre-arrival tests, complete on-arrival tests, and do a 3rd test on day eight of their quarantine. Foreign nationals who aren’t absolutely vaccinated ar still prohibited from getting into Canada, except in exceptional circumstances. Canada offers a tool to assist unvaccinated foreign nationals confirm if they’ll cross the border.
All travellers age 5 or older who don’t qualify as totally vaccinated should still give proof of a pre-entry COVID-19 test result, that might be:
a valid, negative antigen test, administered or observed by an licenced research lab or testing provider, taken outside of Canada no more than one day before the initially scheduled flight departure time or their arrival at the land border or marine port of entry; or
a valid negative molecular test taken no more than 72 hours before the initially scheduled flight departure time or arrival at the land border or marine port of entry; or

In order to be considered totally vaccinated, the Canadian government needs travellers to own the full recommended dose of an approved vaccine. Canada has approved COVID-19 vaccines from eight totally different makers including:

Moderna;
Astra-Zeneca;
Johnson&Johnson;
Bharat Biotech;
Novavax;
Sinopharm BIBP; and
Sinovac.
At this point, a booster dose isn’t needed. the ultimate dose should be taken within 14 days of arrival to Canada.
