173 Skilled Worker Candidates has been Invited in Latest Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Draw
On July 18, Province of Manitoba held their latest draw that invited a total of 173 Skilled Worker Candidates who have applied for Provincial Nomination for Canadian Permanent Residency.
Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), Manitoba has invited the immigrants under eligibility criteria which is required for the economic development of the Manitoba. Invitations are called Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) that are issued through three MPNP’s Immigration streams: which is as below
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba
- Skilled Workers Overseas
- International Education
Below is the LAAs distribution as per July 18 draws:
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 110
- Skilled Workers Overseas: 40
- International Education: 23
As per above mentioned LAAs, 29 invitations were issued to the Federal Government’s Express Entry registered candidates. Express entry, a point-based program, which manages the profiles of the candidates who have submitted their profile under Canada’s three skilled economic immigration programs which is
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSPW)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
If an Express Entry candidate to get a provincial nomination certificate, it is very helpful for the candidate to increase their CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score with 600 points. These many points make sure that candidate is given the Invitation to Apply (ITA) to apply for Canada PR Visa to the Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada (IRCC).This is almost kind of guarantees that the candidate will get an Express Entry invitation from the Government of Canada to apply for permanent residence.
Other than the above-mentioned number of candidates, 40 Skilled Overseas Candidates were also invited in the latest draw on 18th July 2019 directly by Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), through their Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
To get an invitation under MPNP skilled Worker sub-streams, Candidates have to first apply for it and create Expression of Interest (EOI) profile. To create their EOI profile, candidates should give all details like education, work experience, proficiency in English or French and must show their connection to Manitoba and other major details. Based on this information, provided by the candidate’s in EOI profiles, points will be awarded as per their peers. Profiles with the most points are to be invited by Manitoba through regularly held draws. Applicant with the highest scores is invited through regular draws from Manitoba’s EOI pool.
The minimum score required for an LAA in Manitoba’s July 18 draw is as below:
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 539
- Skilled Workers Overseas: Strategic Recruitment Initiative candidates: 718
The draw brings the total number of LAAs issued to skilled worker immigration candidates in 2019 to 5,506.
