Today most of us has dream to immigrate to Canada to fulfil our dreams or for a bright career. Likewise, even Canadian Government is very much keen to emigrate Indians to their Country, it can be under Permanent resident, study, business or work visa etc. because of the multicultural society and peaceful ambience, all immigrants can find their cherished ‘comfort zone’ in a completely unknown land of Canada. there are four ways to immigrate to Canada.

For above all the programs IELTS is mandatory to write (CLB6). As we all know the English is the international Language, so Canadian Government wants to make sure who ever wants to immigrate to Canada, is able to communicate in English and does not face any problem while staying in the country like for the purpose of interview, communicating with other people, in school, work place etc.

Due to that Canadian government has made a rule that everybody has to clear IELTs exam before entering Canada. IELTS is International English Language Testing system, checks the proficiency of the English language in four sections reading, writing, speaking and listening. For all the visa categories, there are different eligibility bands requirements. With good bands one can get admission to his desired Canadian University, increased PR chances, or can also get hired by globally reputed Canadian employers. Well, the main issue lies in the fact that securing good IELTS bands is not a cakewalk and that’s why people hesitate to attempt this exam after all not everyone can afford to give highly expensive and tricky exams. Many people even gather the courage to take exams but after several attempts fail to score a good band. So, most of the people in India always search for the ways to move to Canada without IELTS. Below are five ways under which you can move to Canada without IELTS.

Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program with a low IELTS score of 4.5 bands: The Atlantic Immigration Pilot is a fast-track immigration program that allows employers in Canada’s four Atlantic Provinces to hire foreign nationals for jobs they haven’t been able to fill locally. Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program is introduced in 2017; the federal government and its provincial government partners aim to welcome more than 7,000 newcomers and their families to the Atlantic Canada region by 2021 through the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program. Canada’s Atlantic region comprises of the provinces.

  • Nova Scotia,
  • New Brunswick,
  • Newfoundland and Labrador and
  • Prince Edward Island

A minimum of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 4 on an approved test in either English or French. To qualify under this stream, an applicant must have a job offer from a Designated Employer for a duration of at 12-months for a position under National Occupational Classification (NOC) Skill Level 0, A, or B. In addition to a job offer, applicants in this stream must meet the following criteria.

LMIA approved work permit: Applicant can apply for a Work permit Visa only after getting a job offer or an employment contract from the Canadian employer. The employer must obtain from ESDC (Employment and Social Development Canada) an LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment), which gives them permission to recruit foreign skilled workers for occupations that cannot be filled in by citizens or permanent residents of Canada. IELTS only 4.5 band is required in each module which is minimal.

Canada Open work permit: Canada open work permit is a work permit Because it is not job-specific, this visa is issued to the eligible foreign individuals to work in Canada for a specific time period or minimum 2 years. An open work permit is neither employer nor not job-specific, therefore it allows the holder to work for almost any Canadian employer, without first having to obtain a confirmed offer of employment. The visa is not job-specific, so applicants are required to meet similar requirements as applicants for other types as below.

  • Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) from Employment and Social Development Canada; or
  • Proof that an employer has submitted an offer of employment through the Employer Portal and paid the employer compliance fee.

Your Spouse is Canadian PR holder or on work permit: Canada’s Spouse Visa Program of Canada is a sub-category of the Family Sponsorship Program only. It allows the Canadian permanent residents and citizens to sponsor their spouse or Common-law-partner for Permanent Residency in Canada. under this was candidate does not have to write IELTS. To sponsor the Spousal Sponsorship visa, the sponsor must be related to the sponsored person as

LMIA Owner/Operator Work Permit Canada: The Owner/Operator LMIA is basically for those candidates who want to purchase and existing business in Canada or participate in the daily activities. This visa is depending on your business purchase so only minimum score (CLB5) is required. It minimum takes 4 to 6 months to process owner/operator visa, depends how fast an applicant provide the required documents.

Canada Start-up visa: The Canada Business Start-up Visa Program aims to attract immigrant entrepreneurs who are willing to move to Canada to launch a new business in Canada. this is an easiest way to immigrate to Canada under PR visa. Even ielts is not required with high score, Candidate with 4.5 band in each module of IELTs can apply for this visa to immigrate to Canada.

C11 Work Permit: Canada’s International Mobility Program (IMP) is for those Entrepreneur or Self-Employed Candidates who are planning to buy or run a new business in Canada. This work permit category has two streams. The first is for those who are only seeking temporary entry to Canada and the second is for those who are seeking permanent residence in Canada based on an Entrepreneurial or Self-Employed permanent residence program.

Canada Tourist visa: A Canada Tourist visa is also known as Canada visit visa or Canadian Temporary Resident Visa (TVR). The Canada tourist visa is granted for a maximum period of six months.

Canada Visit visas are of two types:

  • Single entry visa – A single entry visa allows the visa holder to enter Canada just once.
  • Multiple entry visa – A multiple entry visa allows a visitor to come and go from Canada for six months at a time, without having to reapply each time. The multiple entry visa can be valid for up to 10 years, or one month before the visa holder’s passport expires, whichever happens earlier. Applicant does not have to choose, A multiple entry visa is what all visa applicants are automatically considered for, Embassy will review your application and issue you a Visa depending on your situation.
